word and sound groove
was welcomes new worldwide exclusive mo`s ferry productions - the next label from the vital german electronic scene on a fast rise. run and founded by dj and producer niklas worgt initially as an outlet for techno but soon drifting more into the direction of groovy tech-house especially since niklas - producing as dapayk - teamed up with eva padberg; not only member of the international model elite but also involved with mo`s ferry first as graphic designer and now also adding her voice, refined, cosmopolitan lyrics and sound ideas. their third co-produced 12" starts out with the boppin`"big city club" where eva`s cool, almost understated invitation to dance is bombarded with a phletora of quirky sounds popping up from everywhere and supported by a razorsharp swinging beats - full of colourful facets the track changes it`s mood with the addition of a wonderful warm piano chord torwards the end. playhouse major player and one of the highest ranking german house dons losoul tightens the beat and adds som filthy acid antics fore more club hysteria. "soul back" features a interview-like satement of padberg about daring more musical creativity that`s perfectly illustrated by the musi: a wild amalgamation of nasty, distorted sounds and a sweet wurlitzer piano somewhere between techno and house. the closing "milch and honig" works more subtile with variating loops, warm dub sounds yet still designed to entangle you in the groove. they will blow up but won`t go pop!!
